I have been training with Tang Soo Do for 25 years and had 4 years experience with Aikido before that.
My rank at the moment is 5th Dan master instructor and I am the Chief instructor for the South Wales area, I train under Master M Khan 6th Dan, Great Britain Chief instructor and European director (Region 11).

I graded to master rank in 1995, since then I have researched the hyungs in order to develop the applications (Sul Ki) within them, as well as looking at the basic movements within Tang Soo Do so as students can have a better understanding of the techniques.

My philosophy regarding forms is:
Beginners - must learn the basics of the forms
Intermediate - must improve these forms, improve technical ability, improve balance, improve breath control, improve concentration and begin to understand the applications
Advanced - Must understand all applications within forms and learn to put them into practice

I also enjoy teaching weapons such as:
Knife: one step techniques and forms
Staff: one step techniques and forms
Sword: one step techniques and forms
Cane: one step techniques and forms
Double stick (Escrima) techniques and forms
